ADMISSION

Where are you located?
  • We are located at 2750 Wesley Chapel Rd, in Decatur, Ga. (across from the Quick Trip in the plaza with the Post office and Family Dollar)
What are your hours of operation & Prices?

Admission Prices include: $5 Cash/$6 Card,  $10 Cash/ $11 Card, $11 Cash/$12 Card 

    • Tuesday 7:00pm-10:00pm     $5.00 Admission & Skate Rental $5.00
    • Friday 7:00pm-11:00pm         $10.00 Admission & $5.00  Skate Rental
    • Saturday 2:00pm-6:59pm      $10.00 Admission & $5.00 Skate Rental
    • Saturday 7:00pm-11:00pm    $11.00 admission & $5.00 Skate Rental
    • Sunday 3:00pm-9:00pm       $10.00 Admission & $5.00 Skate Rental

Adult Session: $10.00 CASH / $11.00 CARD

    • Friday 11:30pm-3:00am         $10.00 Admission & $5.00 Skate Rental
What form of payment do you accept?
  • There is a $1.00 fee for all credit card charge or tap charges
  • Cash, Debit and all major credit cards (yes, we also accept Apple & Samsung Pay)
  • No refunds on Admission or Skate Rental
  • No refunds on rented skate assist/ skate mates
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission
As an adult bringing my child, do I have to pay if I’m not skating?
  • Adult (chaperones) 18+ not skating must pay $5.00 admission
  • If you choose not to skate…please do not bring in skates or you’ll be charged $9.00
Do you offer a group rate?
  • Yes, if you have a group of 10+ we will take a $1.00 off each paid admission (all of your group must me in attendance to receive the discount)
Can I rent roller blades?
  • Currently, we do not offer/rent rollerblades
  • You may bring your own
  • You may order your own from our pro shop
Will there be a live DJ?
  • Yes, we typically have a live DJ for all of our sessions
  • Yes, you may request a song or shout out
  • He may or may not get to your song
  • We do not allow Artist to stop by and perform
  • We do not allow anyone to sell anything without permission from management
what is the dress code?
  • We do not allow nudity of any type
  • If your wear extremely revealing clothing we will not allow admittance
  • If you change your clothes and your new attire is not acceptable we will ask you to change or you will be asked to leave the building
  • Clothing with profanity is not allowed
  • We will ask you to leave the premises if you attempt to endanger anyone while visiting Golden Glide
  • Fighting will not be tolerated, you will be asked to leave the premises and possibly banned
  • Please leave your personal weapons in the car, we do not allow them in the building…this includes mase and tasers
  • We have the right to refuse entry to anyone
My child is attending a party; will I have to pay if I’m not skating?
  • Non- Skating Adults 18+ must pay $5.00 to enter the the building
  • If you change your mind and decide to skate, you’d pay $9.00 admission & $4.00 rental
  • If you choose not to skate…please do not bring in skates or you’ll be charged $9.00
Can I buy food while I’m there?
  • Yes, we have a concession (not open on all sessions) area for food and drinks as well as vending machines
  • We do not allow outside food or drink (you may bring cake, if you have a reserved party)
  • You must book a party to bring in a cake
What kind of food do you offer?
  • We offer a variety of food and drinks ranging from, pizza, hotdogs, popcorn, nachos, assorted soft drinks, etc.
Do you sell skate?
  • We currently are NOT selling skates
Do you offer skate lessons?
  • Currently we do not offer skate lessons
What size skates do you OFFER?
  • Our skates begin at a child size 8 to men size 15

FUNDRAISERS

How do I schedule a fundraiser?
  • You can download a fundraiser form from our website and email it to GOLDENGLIDERINK@gmail.com and someone from our team will follow up with you.
  • Visit our rink during our regular business hours to book your next fundraiser
If my child’s school is having a fundraiser will I have to pay to skate?
  • Yes, you would pay the regular fundraising price of $9.00 admission $5.00 Rental
  • Everyone pays admission
  • All Fundraisers Begin at 7:00pm and End at 9:00pm, anyone entering after those hours would pay regular admission and/or skate rental (which does not go towards the fundraiser)
  • Anyone entering the building under 18 years of age must pay admission
  • We will only allow 1 representative from the school in at no charge
  • Everyone must check in with the admission cashier 
If I’m attending a fundraiser, but I have my own skates does the price go down
  • The price does not change if you or your child have your own skates. A fundraiser admission is already reduced in order for the organization to earn a profit at the end of the night
Can I change the fundraising price?
  • No, to keep down confusion we have one set price for regular fundraisers (Renting the rink for a private event will allow you to set the price).
How will the count be finalized?
  • Each organization will have a pre selected ticket color, these tickets can be collected by the school representative.
  • Our system accounts for every person that identifies your organization
  • All fundraisers end at 8:00 pm and admissions are then counted. The representative will recieve cash shortly after (if you have 100 of more admissions)
When will we receive the monies we raised?
  • After ticket have been counted, your representative will receive cash the same night

PARTIES

What is the process for booking a party?
  • All parties are booked online
  • Pay your full amount online…this will include admission, skate rental, food, drink and or additional guest if added (Adult parties DO NOT include food)
  • All parties must be booked at least 48 hours in advance, online booking will not be available otherwise
  • Deopsits are Non-Refundable if canceled within 7 days of the party date
  • We do not provide host, parties are self-served in order to keep our party prices low. If you need assistance we’re only a few steps away…in the Po-shop.
Can I book online?
  • Yes, please click on “Book A Party” in the above menu. 
  • All parties must be booked at least 48 hours in advance, online booking will not be available otherwise
  • We can not tell you what slots are available, you have to check online for date and time availabilty
How many guest can I invite to my child’s birthday party

 

  • Each party room has limited seating (The Shared Party Room: 10 seated guest maximum, The Private Party Room: 10-15 seated guest maximum and The VIP Party Room: 10-30 seated guest maximum).
  • You must provide a COMPLETED guest list upon arrival
  • As a courtesy, we allow 2 free adult per child on your guest list, if the adult choose to skate they pay $9 admission and $5 skate rental
  • You must pay $9.00 admission to enter the building if your not an adult (18+) 
  • We do not allow free admission to drop off gifts 
  • If your guest brings siblings, those sibling will have to be added to your guest list or be paid for before entering the building
Can I bring my own decorations?
  • No, but you may bring in balloons, table cloth and/or paper products (This does not apply to VIP parties).
  • We do not allow small or large appliances to enter the building
  • We are not responsible for any decorations left behind, please be sure to collect all of your items after your party ends
  • Please understand that Golden Glide is not a Banquet or Event Hall, we are open for 3 1/2 to 4 Hours for each session 
  • If you require a party planner for your party, you may want to rent the rink instead
  • Adult parties:  You are allowed to bring your own food and drink, however please know that our concession is closed and we can not provide ice, plates, cups, utensil etc.
Can I bring goody bags?
  • We do not allow any outside food or drink other than the cake and ice cream
Do you provide a cake for the party?
  • No, but you may bring cake and ice cream that we can store in our concession are until your party time
Do you offer adult party packages?
  • Yes, during either of our adult sessions you can rent a Private Party Room 
  • Cleaning fee $100.00 cash due on the day of your event (refundable)
  • You bring in your own food and drinks (no alcohol allowed)
  • You bring your own decorations
  • You may decorate after we open and you check in with the admission cashier
  • Your guest pay their $9 admission and $4 skate rental
  • The party room must be cleaned and place back in its original state 30 minute prior to the session ending or you forfeit your $100.00 cleaning fee
  • You are allowed to bring your own food and drink, however please know that our concession is closed and we can not provide ice, plates, cups, utensil etc.
  • Please understand that Golden Glide is not a Banquet or Event Hall, we are open for 3 1/2 to 4 Hours for each session 
  • If you require a party planner for your party, you may want to rent the rink instead, this way you’ll have more options available to you for your  special day
  • Yes, you may bring in your own decorations ( you may not hang anything on the walls or from the ceilings, and you cannot alter the table arrangements)
  • We do not recommend bringing decorations that may take an hour to set up or take down
  • We do not inflate customer balloons
  • We hold customer belongings, this includes balloons, gifts or goody bags
  • We are not responsible for any decorations left behind, please be sure to collect all of your items after your party ends
Will my party be a private party for my guest?
  • No, unless you have booked a Private, VIP Party or Adult party
Am I allowed to bring in a character for my child’s themed party?
  • Yes
